From a small fan meeting to a large event

The Convoy in Birmenstorf has a tradition of over 15 years. Since August 1996, in 1999, 2004, 2007 and 2010, hundreds of old-timers congregated at the same venue – ranging from field-kitchen to condor bike.

From a small meeting of a few enthusiasts in August 1996, the largest military old-timer meeting of Switzerland has evolved. By now the event is known well across Swiss borders and takes place every three years. At the Convoy 2010 appr. 25,000 visitors, over 500 vehicles, a dozen re-enactor groups and 15 airplanes were assembled.
